Roast dates, expiry dates, and lot numbersUpdated 2 months ago

We prioritize freshness and quality control. Every bag of coffee we ship is roasted in-house twice a week and includes specific tracking information to ensure you are getting the best possible coffee!

Where to find this information

You can find the Roast Date, Expiry Date, and Lot Number printed on a white sticker located on the bottom of your coffee bag.

Roast Dates & Shipping

We believe coffee is best enjoyed fresh.

  • Freshness Guarantee: We include the roast date on every single bag.

  • Shipping Timeline: Typically, your coffee will ship within one week of being roasted.

  • Our Guarantee: We guarantee that all coffee is shipped no later than two weeks from its roast date.

Expiry Dates & Shelf Life

While coffee is best consumed within the first few weeks of roasting for peak flavor, our coffee has a 7-month expiry date from the date of roasting when stored in a cool, dry place. Either in the resealable, ziplock packaging or in an airtight container.

In-House Roasting & Lot Numbers

Every batch is roasted in-house by our Head Roaster, Sash! We assign a unique Lot Number to every roast. This allows us to track the specific batch, the coffee used, and the roasting profile to maintain our high quality-control standards.
