Why isn’t my credit card working at checkout?Updated 8 days ago

If you’re having trouble completing your order with a credit card, here are a few troubleshooting steps that may help:

  1. Verify Card Details
    Double-check that the card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address match what your bank has on file. Even a small typo can cause a decline.

  2. Check Autofill Information
    If you’re using browser “auto-fill,” be sure the details are correct—sometimes the CVV or billing address gets entered incorrectly.

  3. Try a Different Browser or Device
    Occasionally, browser settings, cookies, or security tools can interfere with checkout. Trying an incognito/private window or switching to another device (like your phone or tablet) can resolve this.

  4. Contact Your Bank or Card Issuer
    Banks may block transactions if they appear unusual or if fraud protection is triggered. Calling your bank and confirming you’re making the purchase often clears this up quickly.

  5. Check Card Compatibility
    Please note that we accept most major credit cards. Some prepaid cards, gift cards, or international cards may not work at checkout.

  6. Try an Alternative Payment Method
    If your credit card still doesn’t work, you can complete your order using Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay (where available).
